We selected this gown for its slim, feminine silhouette with delicate spaghetti straps and a gently shaped bodice. Subtly fitted through the waist, opening into a softly flared skirt for an elongated line.

Long train at the back that adds movement and presence when walking. The silk fabric is durable yet fluid, giving the dress structure while maintaining a graceful drape.

How we prepare every Re-Nou piece before it reaches you

At Re-Nou, 

we want vintage and preloved to feel just as clean, safe, and reliable as buying something new — only more thoughtful. Every piece is carefully cleaned, refreshed, and prepared so it arrives ready to wear with confidence.

Because you cannot touch a piece before buying online, we believe in being transparent about how we care for our garments. 

Here’s how we prepare each category.

Blouses (Cotton, Viscose, Silk)
Cotton & viscose are machine-washed with gentle detergent, with buttons checked and secured. Silk is carefully hand-washed with mild soap to keep it fresh & soft.

Knitwear
Natural fibres such as wool, cashmere, and mohair are hand-washed according to the label. Synthetic blends are machine-washed when safe to do so.

Leather Jackets & Coats
Leather is cleaned with specialised leather cleaner, then nourished with balm.
Small scratches are repaired and the leather is conditioned so it remains soft and strong.

Blazers
Blazers are aired, lightly cleaned, and steamed to restore their shape. Linings are wiped and small repairs are done by hand. Larger fixes are handled by a professional tailor.

Wool Trousers
Because wool is naturally self-cleansing, trousers are usually aired and refreshed with a damp cloth. If needed, they are gently hand-washed.

Jackets (Spring & Winter)
Many jackets can be machine-washed on a gentle cycle. Stains are treated beforehand, and loose stitching is repaired by hand.

Coats (Wool, Cashmere, Blends)
Coats are carefully inspected for moth damage before sourcing. To refresh them, we air them for several days, secure buttons, and make small repairs. When needed, we freeze orsteam them as an extra precaution.

Shoes
We only select shoes in excellent condition.  Leather is cleaned with saddle soap, nourished with balm, refreshed with colour when needed, and polished. Shoes are stored with stretchers to maintain their shape.

Bags
Leather bags are cleaned, conditioned, and the colour is refreshed when necessary. We select pieces with minimal wear so they retain their beauty and durability.

For bridal pieces, shipping is €16–€25, depending on destination. All orders are fully insured.

Returns are accepted within 14 days. You may choose store credit or a refund. A 15% return fee applies, waived if you choose store credit.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Items must be returned unworn, unaltered, and in original condition.

Returns are accepted within the Schengen Area only. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns from non-Schengen countries due to customs regulations.

DO DIFFERENT TERMS APPLY TO THE BRIDAL COLLECTION?

Yes. Due to the nature of vintage bridal pieces — often delicate, rare, and made from materials such as silk — specific terms apply to shipping, returns, and care. These are designed to protect the integrity of each garment while maintaining a fair and transparent process.
WHAT CONDITION CAN I EXPECT FROM THE GARMENTS?

Our pieces have lived a life before reaching you — ranging from approximately 10 to 90 years old. Subtle, often unnoticeable signs of wear are therefore to be expected and are part of their character.

Any visible or more significant flaws are always clearly described and documented with photos, and reflected in the pricing.
HOW DOES SHIPPING WORK FOR BRIDAL PIECES?

All bridal orders are shipped fully insured to cover the full value of the garment.

Due to this additional level of protection, shipping costs for the bridal collection are higher than our standard rates and typically range from €16 to €25, depending on the destination.
HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?

Orders are typically dispatched within 7 business days. Delivery times depend on your location.

If your wedding date is approaching, we recommend contacting us before purchasing so we can advise on the best shipping option.
HOW DOES SIZING WORK FOR THE BRIDAL COLLECTION?

Each piece is individually measured lying flat, and all measurements are provided on the product page to give you the most accurate understanding of fit.

Vintage sizing can differ significantly from modern standards, so we also include a considered modern size estimate for guidance.

WHAT IS THE BRIDAL RETURN POLICY?

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receiving your order.

Return shipping costs are not covered by us and remain the responsibility of the customer.

All items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received — unworn, unaltered, and without any new marks or damage.

For bridal pieces, refunds are subject to a 15% return handling fee. This helps cover the additional care, cleaning, and preparation involved with delicate vintage bridal garments. The fee is waived if you choose store credit (see below).

HOW SHOULD I HANDLE THE GARMENT WHEN TRYING IT ON?

We recommend trying on bridal pieces with particular care:

  • Avoid makeup, perfume, or body products that may transfer
  • Ensure clean hands and surroundings
  • Avoid jewellery that could catch delicate fabrics

These garments have been preserved over decades — careful handling ensures they remain in exceptional condition.
