THE R-COLLECTIVE
Community first: The R Collective is a small run of secondhand shirts, reworked by hand for the people around Re-Nou.
The R Collective is our name for the people around Re-Nou: the ones who would pick a vintage piece over a new one, and who go looking for what nobody else has.
We made this collection for you.
R-Collective
Hand emboidered
Each piece starts as a men's secondhand shirt, chosen by us. We changed two things.
Sleeves
The long, straight men's sleeves are shortened and gathered into a soft puff. The volume sits against the plain lines of the shirt.
Embroidery
The Re-Nou logo is embroidered by hand in a mohair blend yarn. Soft, textured yarn on smooth cotton: you can feel the difference. Its curves echo the new sleeve.
The collar, the placket and the cotton stay as we found them.
This is our first own design, and it exists only here. Different sizes, various colours.
